Sugary Substances

HAPPY FREE CHOCOLATE DAY SASHSA!!! Why, thank you Sashsa. I wanted to call it Happy Free Sugary Substances Day because you don't always get chocolate, but it didn't sound as good. Enjoy your Ferrero Rocher!

Hello again

I really don't know why I say hello, I'm just talking to myself but anyway, must keep with the niceties. So I was sitting here thinking and procrastinating sleep, and I started thinking about my life so I decided to write about it and get it out of my head for a while. I mean it seems to me that I've lived a long time, even though it's only been 18 years. And everybody I know has always said that I was older than I actually was. I feel old, like I've seen and done a lot for someone my age. I also think that sometimes I had to grow up too soon. *sigh* But you can't change the past so I'll try to not think about anymore.

Ok so it's Valentine's Day or as I like to call it Free Chocolate Day. So here's my opinion on this day. It's cool and all but it really is a money waster. Hallmark and Russell Stover got together and said, "Now how can we get unsuspecting people to buy millions of dollars worth of cards and candy and then make them feel like they're doing it for a special reason?" Ok so I realize the supposed "history" behind it, with St. Valentine and all that but that's just icing on the cake for the companies. Now don't get me wrong, I like getting chocolate just as much as the next girl so I hope that my opinion doesn't discourage anyone from giving me chocolate (in case there's a slight chance someone else is reading this) (also I am not bitter because I don't have a special someone to spend this "holiday" with. I feel this way regardless)

This is gonna be a long post because I just want to write some more. Anyway I've been thinking about the next 3 years of my life, or the rest of my college career. So I want to permanently move here very soon. It will definitely not be this summer and maybe not even next summer but hopefully by my junior or at least by my senior year I will have an apartment here. I will most surely miss the country and my hometown but I have to move on to bigger things and sometimes you just have to leave those you love behind so that you can live your own life and have your own adventures. Besides I absolutely love the mountains and I love being like 45 minutes away.

I think that's it for right now. I could probably write some more but I have go to work and I should get a least a little bit of sleep. So until tomorrow, fare thee well. (Again I really love ye olde English)

New

Hello! So I actually had to make this blog for my english class last semester and I haven't done anything to it except for class stuff. But, while sitting here thinking about stuff, I decided that I would start it up again for my own personal use. Also I wanted to use this because not many people know about it and I doubt that anyone would read this one anyway. I am a firm believer in journal usage. If you have a lot on your mind, writing it down can sometimes give you a different perspective and it just plain helps clear your mind. So until next time, which will probably be very soon, fare thee well. (I love ye olde English language)
